Welcome to Kingdom K-9s!

 Kingdom K-9’s was founded to honor a deeply personal connection shaped by an unwavering, divine love and protection of my dog Zayne. In a season of life that included facing my own sexual abuse, managing my daughter's mental health challenges, surviving estrangement and physically confronting one of the perpetrators of my sexual abuse, he stood by me at my most vulnerable time. He provided the safety of a protective environment - something I had never before known.

God used Zayne to heal parts of me that were never exposed- Sexual abuse wounds I didn't have language for. He understood my broken pieces and gathered the wreckage of my abuse and gave it meaning. He pulled me off cliffs that would have shattered our family- ultimately saving my life. 

As a mother, my children are most often the source of my greatest love. The unfortunate other side of that, is that their absence has been the source of my deepest pain. Even on the hardest days Zayne was there to offer me a comfort I didn’t know I had the capacity to feel in such agonizing times.

He kept my home safe, not just physically, but emotionally, creating an unspoken sanctuary for myself, my children and a peace of mind for my husband. Through moments of darkness, when depression threatened to take my second daughter, Zayne never left her side. Instead, he was my partner and my compass to navigate the situation. He was able to communicate her needs to me when she couldn’t. His loyalty was a lifeline, offering companionship and a blueprint for my guidance.

Zayne was more than a dog he was a constant reminder of God's presence and unconditional love.
It is because of him that Kingdom K-9’s became a calling. On a personal level I understand the high value of bonding with an instinctually protective, highly motivated, well-trained canine. Like Zayne did for me, the canines we rescue have one mission - to give others the same sense of security, supports and companionship that helped me, on their journey to healing.
